My name is Kyle Casper. I was born & raised in the sunny city of St. Petersburg, Florida. By day, I'm a retail manager for Heights Meat Market in Tampa, Florida and by night, I turn into who all of you have learned to love. Sweet Tusk BBQ.

What fuel your passion for BBQ?

BBQ for all started when I would go over to my old co-workers house to throw down on a couple beers. He would break out the grill and cook some burgers, maybe even ribs and from that point on I said to myself "I want to do this". I bought my first smoker in 2019 and since then has been a positive domino effect. I started just posting pictures, then to making receipes to eventually partnering up with some major BBQ brands. Thus, Sweet Tusk BBQ was born. 

What is your end goal?

To me, I would never really say there is an end. I'm continuously learning new things each and everyday. What my goal is to do is to share my passion with others, show people that good food is possible! But also show that its okay to be different, try something new or do something that they love. 

Where did the name "Sweet Tusk" come from?

Once I started posting to social media, I wanted to give myself a unique name other than just my government name. I was just having a few garage beers with a good friend, throwing out names to each other and he said "Sweet Tusk". I've stuck with it ever since.
